Rapid Prototyping, a thought

Here is my thought on rapid prototyping. We need it. I own a business that requires models, and 3D constructs. I wouldn't be able to run my business without this technology! Not only can we make 3D models of things, but we can do it quickly and accurately, thanks to computers and CAD.

WHen I was in high school I took an industrial drawing class. We had to do everything by hand. We weren't allowed to use the computers with the CAD software. Our drawings were therefore incomplete, inaccurate, and practically archaic. The students sitting at the covetted CAD supported computers were able to do 3-times the work we did with precision. I wondered why that class even existed if we had such wonderful technology today. Moral of the story: Computer programs + technology = Successful business!
